What we collect

BalconySolarHub is a static website hosted on GitHub Pages. We do not run our own analytics, advertising network, or user account system. Specifically:

  • We do not set first-party tracking cookies.
  • We do not run third-party ad networks.
  • We do not collect personal data through forms (we have no on-site forms).
  • GitHub Pages, like any web host, sees the IP address of visitors as part of normal HTTP traffic. We don’t access or store that data.

Cookies

We do not set cookies. Third-party links you click out to (Amazon UK, news sources) will be governed by their own privacy and cookie policies.

Email contact

If you email us at hello@balconysolarhub.co.uk we receive your email address and the contents of the email. We use it solely to reply. We do not add it to any mailing list. We retain emails for as long as reasonably needed to handle the enquiry and then delete.

Your UK GDPR rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection in relation to any personal data we hold. To exercise any of these rights, or for any privacy questions, email hello@balconysolarhub.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
